Choose the join point
The continue-from field is in seconds. When you upload a file, it defaults to the end of the track, but you can set any earlier point.
Upload a track or pick one of your songs, choose the second where the AI should pick up, and optionally steer the style. The music extender AI writes a continuation that follows on from your audio. Available on Pro and Studio, 2 credits per extension.

Extend Audio is inside the app for Pro and Studio subscribers. The result usually arrives in a minute or two.
Upload an audio file up to 50 MB, or open one of your songs in the Library and choose to extend it.
Keep the default, which is the end of the track, or type the second where the new section should begin.
Choose a genre and mood, a vocal preference, or instrumental only. Advanced settings include the model, style weight and negative tags.
Start the extension for 2 credits and listen to the result in your Library. Try another point or setting if the join is not right.
The extender listens to your track up to the point you choose and generates new music that follows on from there, aiming to keep the same feel. It is useful when a track ends too soon, when you have a strong intro but no second half, or when you want to try a different direction from a certain moment.
The continue-from field is in seconds. When you upload a file, it defaults to the end of the track, but you can set any earlier point.
Leave the style settings alone to stay close to the original, or choose a genre and mood to push the continuation somewhere new.
Set a vocal preference, or switch on instrumental only if the continuation should have no singing.
Where you cut matters as much as what you ask for. These habits give the AI a cleaner starting point.
The continuation is newly generated audio, so it will not be a perfect copy of your arrangement. Instruments, vocal tone or tempo can drift slightly, and the length of what is generated varies. It works on finished mixed audio: there are no stems, MIDI or multitrack controls. Only upload audio you own or have permission to use.
Searching for an AI music extender online free? Extension is a Pro-plan tool on the Pro and Studio plans and costs 2 credits each time.
Extending someone else's song does not give you rights to it. The Content Usage License never covers third-party material you upload.
A few common situations where continuing a track is quicker than starting from scratch:
You love a track from your Library but it stops before your video does. Extend it from the final bar and keep the same genre and mood.
Upload a short piano or guitar idea you recorded and let the AI suggest where it could go next.
Continue from the middle of a track instead of the end and try a new mood, for example turning a calm song more energetic.
It is a tool that listens to an existing track and generates new music that carries on from a chosen point. Here it is called Extend Audio, and it is available on the Pro and Studio plans.
Not on this site. Extend Audio is a Pro-plan tool and costs 2 credits per extension. Free starter credits cover standard song creation, not the Pro tools.
