A plain-language overview of how you can use music made with Music AI Generator: what personal use covers, how Pro and Studio subscribers generate a song-specific Content Usage License, and what no license can cover. This page is a summary, not legal advice. The Terms of Service always apply.

The license is generated inside the app for an individual track. The steps below assume you have a Pro or Studio plan.
Make a track on the Create page, or pick one you already have in your Library.
Make sure any lyrics or uploaded audio used in the track are your own or properly licensed.
From the Library, generate the Content Usage License for that specific song.
Save the license alongside your project so you can show it to a platform, client or distributor if asked.
Everyone who creates music on the site can use it personally, subject to the Terms of Service. Personal use means things like listening, sharing with friends or using a track in a non-monetized personal project. Using music in anything that earns money, promotes a business or is delivered to a client is commercial use, and that is where the Content Usage License comes in.

Include downloads and personal use under the Terms. They do not include the Content Usage License for commercial projects.
Subscribers can generate a song-specific Content Usage License from the Library for eligible commercial projects, subject to its terms.
The Content Usage License is issued per song. Pro and Studio subscribers generate it from the Library for the specific track they plan to use. Keep a copy with your project files in case a platform, client or distributor asks for proof of your usage rights.
A license can only pass on rights that exist in the generated music. It cannot create rights in material that belongs to someone else.
We do not claim ownership of your generated content, but AI systems can produce similar results for different users. The license does not stop others from using similar music.
It does not grant rights in anyone else's work, such as lyrics you did not write, recognizable melodies, or a real person's name or likeness.
If you upload audio to remix, extend or cover, the license does not cover that source material. You need your own rights to it.
We cannot guarantee how YouTube Content ID or other automated matching systems will treat a track. Claims are decided by those platforms and rights holders.
A quick guide to typical uses. The Terms of Service and the license text are what actually govern your rights.
Personal, non-commercial use. Available subject to the Terms. A paid plan is needed only if you want to download the file.
Commercial use. Generate a Content Usage License for the track on a Pro or Studio plan. Content ID outcomes are not guaranteed.
Commercial use. License the specific song on Pro or Studio and let the client know the license is non-exclusive.
Our license cannot cover someone else's recording. You need permission from the rights holders before any use beyond what they allow.
Pro and Studio subscribers can generate a song-specific, non-exclusive Content Usage License from the Library for eligible commercial projects, subject to its terms and any third-party rights. Starter, Basic and free-credit use do not include that license.
We do not claim ownership of your generated content, and the Terms grant you a non-exclusive right to use it subject to their conditions. Whether AI-generated music can be protected by copyright depends on the law where you are, so we cannot promise that you hold a copyright.
No. It grants usage rights for a specific song, not exclusive ownership. Because AI can produce similar results for different people, another user may create music that sounds alike.
We cannot guarantee it will not. Automated systems such as YouTube Content ID are run by the platforms and rights holders. If you receive a claim, you can reference your license record if you choose to dispute it through that platform.
No. Material you upload for remix, extend or cover remains subject to the rights of whoever owns it. You need your own rights or permission for that source audio.
The license is generated while you have a Pro or Studio plan, so generate it for the songs you need before your subscription ends. For the exact conditions that apply to existing licenses, see the Terms of Service and the license text, or contact us.
